The world of UMusic grew again today with the opening of two new UMusic Shop locations in New York and London. Each space offers something that has been quietly missing in the digital age. A place where fans can hold the music they love, feel the weight of vinyl, discover exclusive collections and step into a culture that still lives off the page.

UMusic Shop New York sits at 2 Penn Plaza, just steps from the entrance of Madison Square Garden. It is the first permanent superfan retail experience in North America and carries an extensive range of vinyl and artist merchandise from Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Elton John, the Rolling Stones and many others. To mark the opening, the shop partnered with Awake NY for an exclusive Music Is Universal capsule collection. Throughout the week, the space will also transform for two fan pop-ups. One honors the legacy of Neil Diamond and the upcoming release of Song Sung Blue in cinemas. The other celebrates Republic Records artist Conan Grey.
Across the Atlantic, UMusic Shop Camden opens in one of London’s most storied neighbourhoods. Camden Market has long been a place where music spills out of every stall and street corner. The new shop adds to that rhythm with immersive installations, exclusive artist collections, a Vinyl Lounge, a DJ booth and a Sound Room created for fans who want to experience music in a deeper way.
Both locations were launched in partnership with the UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle division and continue a growing retail presence that began with openings in Madrid and Tokyo’s Harajuku district. As Susan Mazo, EVP and Chief Impact Officer at Universal Music Group, shared, the goal is to strengthen the connection between artists and the fans who care about every note and memory. These new shops reflect that promise. They serve as gathering places. They invite discovery. They give music lovers a chance to step inside a story that keeps unfolding.
The opening of UMusic Shop New York and UMusic Shop Camden marks the next step in a larger vision for physical experiences shaped by sound, creativity and community. It is a moment that celebrates where music lives today and where it is headed next.
