The Madrid-based hotel received awards in five categories within the Hotel Awards: “Best Lifestyle Hotel,” “Best Conceptual Hotel,” “Best Hotel Brand,” “Best Event Hotel,” and “Best Innovative Hotel.” These recognitions highlight the property’s ability to redefine the contemporary hospitality experience through music, culture, and entertainment. In addition, the project received two distinctions in the Hospitality Design Awards category: “Best Thematic & Conceptual Hotel Design” and “Best Urban Hotel Design & Facade,” recognizing both its conceptual identity and the architectural and aesthetic integration of a historic building transformed into a unique experiential destination in the heart of Madrid. These honours are complemented by two individual awards within the Excellence in Hotel Leadership Awards: “Best General Manager” awarded to Íñigo Sánchez-Crespo Ateca, General Manager of UMusic Hotel Madrid, and “Best Chief Executive Officer (CEO)” awarded to Robert Lavia, recognising the strategic leadership and vision behind the project.

Nine awards recognising a new vision of hospitality

The Noble World Hotel Awards recognise projects capable of raising the standards of the global hospitality industry through innovation, creativity, and excellence in guest experience. Under this year’s theme, “Global Inspirations: Celebrating Diversity in Luxury Hospitality,” the awards spotlight hotels and leaders who incorporate cultural, artistic, and experiential influences from around the world into their concepts. Within this context, UMusic Hotel Madrid has been distinguished for creating a hospitality concept that goes beyond the traditional stay, transforming every space into an immersive experience connected to music, urban culture, and emotional engagement with guests. From its cultural and musical programming to its dining spaces, pop-up experiences, artistic activations, and direct connection with the historic Teatro Albéniz, the hotel has established itself as an international benchmark within the new generation of experiential hotels.

A commitment to innovation with a cultural soul

Located in the heart of Madrid and home to the historic Teatro Albéniz (1945), UMusic Hotel Madrid has become a meeting point between hospitality, music, and culture. The project also stands out for its commitment to sustainability and heritage preservation through the complete restoration of the historic building, as well as its focus on energy efficiency, local talent, and the cultural revitalisation of the surrounding area.
