One of the world’s most electrifying and eclectic festivals returns to Madrid this summer, and UMusic Hotel Madrid is just a half-hour drive away (a little further by metro).

From July 10 to 12, 2025, the Mad Cool Festival is bringing its epic eighth edition to the Iberdrola Music venue, drawing fans from around the globe and some of the biggest artists to the heart of Spain for three days of cool. This year’s lineup is a currated playlist of legends and rising stars: Olivia Rodrigo, Muse, Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams, Alanis Morissette, Weezer, Nine Inch Nails, Benson Boone, Justice, Iggy Pop, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Arde Bogotá, Residente, Glass Animals, St. Vincent, and many more. If you’re a fan of deep beats and late-night vibes, Brunch Electronik x Mad Cool debuts on Sunday, July 13, with a full day devoted to the best in electronic music.

You can grab a 3-day pass from €199 or a 1-day ticket from €99. Either way, you're in for an unforgettable experience of art, food, and fandom.

Since its debut in 2016, Mad Cool has rewritten the rules of the European music scene, hosting monumental performances by The Cure, Neil Young, Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Green Day, The Who, Lauryn Hill, and Foo Fighters. It’s no wonder the festival earned NME’s 2018 Award for Best Line-Up. Every year, the festival builds on its legacy, with 2025 poised to raise the bar even higher.

Leading this year’s charge is Olivia Rodrigo, the three-time Grammy-winning phenom whose meteoric rise began with Drivers License and continues with her acclaimed second album Guts (2023), featuring hits like Vampire and Get Him Back! Her live set promises to be a raw, emotionally charged blend of vulnerability and power.

Also returning to the Mad Cool stage are Muse, taking over for Kings of Leon with their only Spanish date on their 2025 European tour. Don’t miss the signature high-voltage theatrics from Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, and Dominic Howard. Their live shows are the stuff of legend.

Thursday’s lineup turns things up a notch with Iggy Pop, the “Godfather of Punk,” delivering a set that will span five decades of rebellious genius. Sharing the spotlight, Alanis Morissette, is back in Madrid to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her groundbreaking album Jagged Little Pill. Her generation-defining anthems like You Oughta Know still resonate with audiences to this day.

Also illuminating the stage will be Thirty Seconds to Mars, fronted by the magnetic Jared and Shannon Leto, performing songs from their newest release, It’s the End of the World But It’s a Beautiful Day, alongside fan favorites A Beautiful Lie and From Yesterday.

The dial keeps turning up: Gracie Abrams, known for her atmospheric and intimate songwriting; Weezer, returning to Madrid after two decades to play Island in the Sun and Happy Together; Noah Kahan, the folk-pop voice behind Stick Season; and Benson Boone, whose emotional ballads like Beautiful Things have captivated millions.

The stage will also welcome Arde Bogotá, Residente, Bad Nerves, Geordie Greep, Chloé Caillet, Kingfishr, Jet, Kaiser Chiefs, and the genre-defying brilliance of Justice, Glass Animals, and St. Vincent.

And on July 13, Brunch Electronik x Mad Cool will bring something new to the festival in a format that will merge Mad Cool’s massive energy with the best of underground and international electronic music.
