EL MILAGRO DE P. TINTO
JULY 21 – 3:00 PM
In his early childhood, little P. Tinto has a revelation: his life's purpose must be the procreation of a large offspring. He dreams of being surrounded by many strong, healthy children. Fifteen years later, P. Tinto and Olivia, a blind and stingy woman, have built a home in an isolated valley where the Pendular Express of the North passes only once every twenty-five years. The couple long for children, but years go by without success. Fifty years later, two little aliens with a broken UFO arrive at their home, and the P. Tintos believe they are their children. The aliens decide to stay, enjoying the food and shelter. At the same time, Usillos, a bumbling handyman, shows up under the pretense of fixing tiles but starts causing chaos—and becomes obsessed with catching aliens.
HISTORIAS DEL KRONEN

"El Kronen" is the bar where a group of friends meet with no greater life plan than pushing each night to the limit in a mix of sex, drugs, and danger.
LA CAJA 507
JULY 23 – 3:00 PM
A Spanish thriller classic starring Antonio Resines, José Coronado, and Goya Toledo, directed by Enrique Urbizu. After the bank where he works is robbed, Modesto—a dull, unremarkable man—discovers that his daughter's death years ago was no accident but part of a broader police corruption plot. This leads him to search for Rafael, the owner of a safety deposit box containing all the secrets.
MARTIN HACHE
JULY 24 – 3:00 PM
Martín Echenique is an Argentine film director who has lived in Madrid for over twenty years. He despises his homeland and avoids nostalgia. His 19-year-old son, nicknamed Hache, lives in Buenos Aires with his mother. He neither studies nor works—he roams the streets and plays his electric guitar. After five years apart, they reunite when Hache overdoses. Martín's ex-wife proposes that Hache move in with his father. In Madrid, two people await: Alicia (Cecilia Roth), Martín’s much younger lover who is tired of his fear of commitment; and Dante, an actor and Martín’s best—and nearly only—friend, who lives life on the edge. Martín surrounds himself with passionate people, but he doesn’t allow himself to feel. To love is to risk pain—and that terrifies him.
